Extra Curricular Activities
Health and Fitness/Playball - Recent studies show that our society, through the comforts of technology and fast food, enables childhood obesity, which has reached epidemic proportions. Kids ‘R’ Kids knows how important physical activity is to any child’s development, and that’s why our center offers the unique Playball program. Playball is not just another ball program. It is devised and continually updated by sports experts, occupational therapists and educational specialists. By giving children competence in sports, we help to improve gross motor development, increase concentration skills and improve balance.
Foreign Language/Spanish - There’s no better time to learn another language than during the early childhood years. In fact, a child’s brain is designed to learn multiple languages. Our program teaches young children by sitting down with them at their eye level and creating a fun learning atmosphere utilizing storytelling, songs, recorded stories, games and crafts.
Dance/Creative Movement and Dance - Dancing helps even the youngest child express herself with music and movement. Our program offers the perfect balance between Tap and Ballet. The program teaches the proper shifting of weight through Ballet and patterns through Tap. All activities are accompanied by fun music.
Art/Abrakadoodle - Abrakadoodle takes an enlightened perspective to expanding childrens' creativity and their knowledge of the world of art, color and design.
